My parents decided it would be a great idea to go on a two week Euro trip with both my grandmas to Italy, Prague, Vienna and Germany. We had such an amazing time. This trip is definitely one I will remember forever. Seeing my grandmas communicating and traveling together with us was one of the best experiences. My grandma Nonna is Italian and my grandma Obaachan is Japanese. Somehow my grandmas get along and communicate with each other so well. I wish this was all filmed so you guys could see how funny and amazing the way they communicate is. Here are a few photos from the trip. ♡
Reggio Calabria, Italy ♡
My Nonna lives in Reggio Calabria, Italy so we began our trip from there. On our first day we went to my favorite beach in the world, which I have blogged about before called Baia Di Riaci, which is located in Taormina, Italy (an hour away from Reggio Calabria).
Look how blue and clear! I have had the best memories here.
My kawaii Obaachan and her stylish swimsuit hehe

Here is a photo of the center of Reggio Calabria, Italy.
We had aperitivo in the Center. So yummy….
If you ever go to Italy you have to try the latte di mandorla (almond milk) it is sweet and delicious. It tastes differently from the almond milk here in the States. One of my all time favorites and I always get it when I am in Italy.
We went out to eat pizza. Guys this was the one of the best pizzas i’ve ever had in my life!!! Mozzarella con latte di Bufala, Caciocavallo Silano DOP, smoked Scamorza and Gorgonzola.
We spent a day with family at my uncle’s beach house. My grandma cooked so much for us. I forgot to take a photo 😥 she made parmigiana, lamb, salad, cheese and pasta.
Nonna and obaachan were holding hands everywhere they went and looked after each other.
Vienna, Austria ♡
This is a photo of my grandma and I at our airbnb in Vienna. Vienna is such a quiet and clean city.
With beautiful architecture!
We went to a lovely traditional Austrian restaurant called Plachutta and had so much food.
We had Tafelspitz (which is boiled meat in broth with vegetables) and wienerschnitzel which are both traditional Viennese dishes.
Here is a photo of the broth with vegetables. It had so much flavor!
We later went to see an Opera/Ballet, since Vienna was home to many famous composers like Beethoven, Brahms, Strauss, Mozart and many more. We thought it would be appropriate to go see a show.
We then took a train to Prague 🙂
Prague, Czech Republic ♡
I fell in love with Prague, from the food to the architecture to the people.
Just so beautiful everywhere you look!
We tried the famous Trdelník (which literally means turtle neck) which was rolled dough with cinnamon, sugar and filled with ice cream! It was so good. They had so many different types with pistachio, nutella, fruits, chocolate and more.
Here is a selfie 😀
Both grandmas together ♡ they are so cute.
My dad and my Nonna ♡♡♡
We went to this amazing restaurant called Mlejnice which amazing traditional food with such flavor!!
We had different types of meats, beer and goulash (which was my absolute favorite). I will be craving goulash every single day haha.
Prague you were sooo beautiful and your food was so yummy.
Dusseldorf, Germany ♡
Lastly, we went to Dusseldorf, Germany. I have cousins and my aunt and uncle live here. I really enjoyed going back to Germany and seeing family.
The famous and delicious curry wurst.
Passed by this beautiful church

If you read this all the way through, thank you!! This is my favorite post i’ve made so far because it means so much to me and it is filled memories I will remember for the rest of my life. We laughed so much until we cried and I learned so much more about my family. I feel so blessed and thankful that my family are from two complete different cultures and that I am able to travel, learn and grow from and with them.
Thank you for reading ♡
With so much love,
