Sweet Green ♡


I am so lucky to have one of my favorite restaurants  near by me.  Sweet Green is a place that serves local and organic ingredients from local farmers.

I ordered the Harvest Bowl which had organic wild rice + shredded kale, apples, sweet potatoes, toasted almonds, local goat cheese, roasted chicken, balsamic vinaigrette with some tasty natural  lemonade!

They  have soups, grain bowls, and  salads!

Look they even show you what and where some of the ingredients are from! (as you can see most are from local farms)

Something that I love about Sweet Green  is that they make certain meals  based  on the season we are in. Obviously because certain vegetables taste better when they are in season.

Since finals is going on it is important to feed your body with healthy nutrients to help keep your body moving, sooo I definitely recommend going to this place especially during this time of the year!

Suja 3 Day Juice Cleanse ♡

Processed with VSCOcam with t1 preset I’ve always wanted to try a Juice Cleanse and I finally started one today!!!!! 🙂

I can honestly say, it is a lot harder than I was expecting it to be…lol but I do already feel a difference in my body. I notice that when I eat clean (meaning: fruits & vegetables only)  my body feels energized and almost hyper in a way. So adding juices to that mix makes me feel great!

Things you should do during your cleanse:

  • drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water a day
  • drink your juices as instructed
  • take it easy

    Many experienced juice cleansers and maybe most people don’t really eat during a juice cleanse but I know my body and know that I need food throughout the day so I am eating small portions of light raw foods (salads, fruits, and nuts)

    My biggest advice is to listen to your body and make sure you are taking care of it. Don’t starve yourself or make your body suffer during a cleanse (even if you are not doing a cleanse), remember you are always wanting to do your body a favor by taking care  of it!
