Boston Calling x Red Bull ♡

IMG_4621.JPG

Recently, I had the opportunity to attend The Boston Calling Music Festival, Red Bull is a sponsor of Boston Calling and I was lucky enough to get a sponsor from Red Bull to attend this amazing music festival. Woo.

IMG_4627.JPG

I don’t know if you know but Red Bull is really involved with music, they have their own Music Academy (which they will be announcing and opening applications for soon, so apply if you can, I had the opportunity to check out the Music Academy they had in Montreal last year and it was beyond incredible. For more info about the Academy check out my blog post about it here). The RBMA is a dream for any musician, vocalist, songwriter so if you have the opportunity to apply for it DO IT!

Honestly, I don’t know if you realize this, but Red Bull is everywhere supporting music. Recently, Red Bull sponsored Together Music Festival in Cambridge. Red Bull Music Academy also recently had really cool music events in New York, that I was unable attend 😦 They had Solange there and I was so upset I couldn’t go!! I know I know, but I will definitely be attending future Red Bull Music Academy events.

PS. I know  I have mentioned this in my other blog posts but, as you can tell the Orange Edition is my favorite flavor.

Boston Calling had such an amazing lineup and amazing food!! I didn’t really take too many photos of the food but here is a awkward photo of me before I devoured that hamburger. I am telling you guys, Tasty Burger is a gift from heaven.

IMG_4644.jpg

My favorite show by far was Cage The Elephant, oh my gosh. They killed it. Amazing music and amazing energy on stage. I loved the energy they brought, every single person in the crowd was so engaged and so happy. I love that music does that, everyone came together to one place no matter their culture and beliefs and just enjoyed music among one another. We were all one. That is the power of love and music.

IMG_4633.JPG

Thank you so much Red Bull for sponsoring my day at Boston Calling. I am looking forward to attending future events with Red Bull.

With so much love,

Top 5 Places On My Travel Wish List After Attending The Boston Globe Travel Show ♡

Recently, I had the opportunity of attending The Boston Globe Travel Show. For those of you who have never attended a travel show it is basically any travel lovers dream place to be. There are many different travel agencies and experts on places around the world and they give you suggestions on where you should go. Although I have a huge list of places I would love to visit around the world these are my top 5 places i’d like to visit (in no specific order).

  1. Phuket, Thailand

phuket-thailandThere are many places I’d like to visit in Thailand but one place I would like to visit specifically is Phuket, Thailand. Look at how amazing this beach is! I learned that the beach is beautiful there, lots of opportunities to go day hiking, you can go see the Big Buddha and other temples, and the food is apparently amazing.

2.Havana, Cuba

shutterstock_328481705.jpgEvery time I look into a place to go most of the time pictures are what capture my interest. Pictures help you imagine where you can be. As I have been researching more and more about Cuba my desire to visit has grown.  There are many historical monuments to see in Havana. I learned that the food, beach, and architect is something worth seeing.

3. Malaysia

tun-sakaran-marine-park.jpgOne place I really would love love to go one day is the Tun Sakaran Marine Park, Semporna in Malaysia. Which is a Marine Park located on the East Coast of Sabah, Malaysia. As you can tell I love the ocean and so Malaysia is one place that I would really really love to go one day.

4. India

taj-mahal-clouds.640x320.jpgIndia has been on my list for quite a few years. I always hear about India. I would love to visit the Taj Mahal and try the food. This may be a little random but a dream of mine one day is to visit one of the orphanages Mother Teresa built in Kolkata and volunteer there.

5. Africa

africa-cruise-safariLastly, a place that has always been on my list is Africa. I would love to visit the safaris in Africa and go to Cape Town. I know I may be a little scared at first but I would love to see the wildlife up close.

Thank you again to The Boston Globe for inviting me to attend the Boston Globe Travel Show, it has definitely inspired me to start planning my next few travels.

These are my top 5 places i’d like to go, what are your top 5? Let me know.

Playa Del Carmen, Mexico ♡

IMG_7721.JPG

Hello ♡

Recently my family and I went on a family vacation to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.

img_7727

On our first day we relaxed and enjoyed the sun at a beach near our Airbnb.

                    img_7886    img_7776

On our second day we went to Akumal Beach.

We went snorkeling and swam with the turtles, also saw a few stingray!!

        img_8021img_8022

Here are a few pixelated photos my brother took of our adventures underwater!

The stingray were a bit scary for me…. I kept trying to swim in a horizontal position when we approached the stingray. My legs were definitely outside of the water. haha

img_7908  img_7924

On our third day we went to an aquatic theme park called XelHa where we went snorkeling, zip lining, cliff jumping (which only Andre – my brother did), swimming!

img_7928 img_7923

We even were able to swim in a Mayan Cave!

img_7911

We  even were able to spot a beautiful rainbow! Isn’t it beautiful?!

On our last day, we went to visit a few places: Cenote Chikin Ha, Tulum, and Xpu Ha.

img_8006

Cenote  is an underwater cave, there are a few in Mexico but we went to visit the Cenote called Chikin Ha.

IMG_7948.JPG

Look at how blue the water is! As the light reflects into the water it made a crystal blue color in the water. It was the clearest water I have ever seen. I wish the photos would do it justice.

img_7975

Later we went to visit the Maya Ruins in Tulum. This was so interesting to see.

 img_7990         img_7981

Next to the ruins was a view of the beautiful ocean! So we decided to take a few photos.

Later we enjoyed lunch at Xpu Ha Beach

img_8007

For our last dinner I had an amazing seafood pasta  in a restaurant located in 5th avenue of Playa Del Carmen.

I had such a great time and I cannot wait to go back again.

Red Bull Music Academy – Montreal

14671309_1162424760460604_171059331158366218_n.jpg

I had the great opportunity of going to Montreal for an exciting weekend, sponsored by Red Bull. The weekend consisted of a tour of the Red Bull Music Academy facility as well as the  Björk Exhibit and a RBMA kick off party. wooo

DSC00062.jpg

First we had The Björk Exhibit to attend. I had no idea that this exhibit would be presented through virtual reality. There were five scenes, for each scene you would be sent to a room,  sit down, turn on the headset and immerse into Björk’s world. Björk would bring emotion and warm ambience through each scene.  Every moment of this exhibit was so moving and eye opening. I wish I could have taken photos but was asked not to. I would definitely go attend  this exhibition again. Björk is a true artist and I was gratified to have experienced such a moving piece of art.

That night, we attended the Red Bull Music Academy kick off party which featured artists such as Turbo Crunk. It was a great night filled with amazing  DJ’s and lots of yummy Red Bull (the orange Red Bull edition is my favorite)

The next day we had the opportunity to tour the Red Bull Music Academy facility. The aesthetic of the center was beautiful. Everything I love and more (Electronic music, plants, more plants, amazing food, and great people) I would definitely call the Red Bull Music facility the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for electronic music makers.

Every room in the facility was filled with a theme and designed by a local artist in Montreal.

The art in the rooms were all done by different artists.  each room looked so amazing. This is one of the 10 bedroom studios.

We were brought to the workspace of the facility- this floor was by far my favorite of the facility. I would love for this to be my workspace one day. #GOALS

IMG_6046.jpg

This was the RBMA Cafe. Ahhhh isn’t everything just so cute?! they were serving coffee and drinks and for lunch were served such amazing food.

dsc00089

After lunch they were serving doughnuts from a local doughnut shop in the area. The doughnut was so yummy looking I couldn’t wait, I forgot to take a picture…haha  but just imagine a delicious looking doughnut. It was so goooood.

Thank you again to Red Bull for sponsoring this amazing trip. I had a memorable weekend and I hope to be back again at the RBMA sometime soon.

The amazing thing about blogging is that I get to meet so many talented people along the way. I love meeting people that are not only talented but carry such a big heart with them. I think that’s important. Recently I was able to take photos with a friend of mine Lillian Seibert. Yes, she is talented but she carries such a big heart as well.

I love learning new things from people and she just has so much wisdom that it just makes working with someone a great experience.

Look at these amazing photos she took! Like I always say photographers make us look cooler than we really are. She really does that! haha

Noble Originals ♡

IMG_4078.JPG

As I was scheming through the internet I was lucky enough to find this skin care product line called Noble Originals. The name Noble Originals is actually named after a beautiful pony named Noble!!! Isn’t that adorable?! What sets Noble Originals apart from any skin care line is that all of their products are vegan! YES, vegan. They avoid using preservatives, artificial fillers, or synthetic fragrances when they make their products.

As you can see in the picture above I received three of their products. The lemongrass body butter, Vanilla Lip Balm Chapstick, and the Oatmeal bath bar.

IMG_4080.JPG

Right as a opened the box I couldn’t help but be so excited!!

The same night I tried the lemongrass body butter after taking a shower. I would recommend to put around a quarter size on your palm and just lather the body butter all over your (dry) skin. After a few minutes I could already feel my skin feeling so soft! The scent was also amazing because I love the smell of lemongrass. The lemongrass body butter contains shea butter from a woman’s co-operative in Africa. How cool is that!!

Later I tried the  Vanilla Lip balm and thought, wow this is going to be my favorite product from Noble Originals. I have tried many chapsticks but for some reason it felt as though this chapstick lasted longer and when I licked my lips to taste it (yes i tasted it haha) I literally did not taste any type of artificial flavor or chemicals! haha I was really checking to see if they were staying to their mission.

Yes, they really are  staying true to their mission.

Last I tried the Oatmeal bath bar and that is when I knew I would want to purchase this product over and over and over again. The oatmeal bath bar was by far my favorite!!! I felt an instant change to my skin after I used this product. You could really notice that their were essential oils in this bar. This bath bar also contains shea butter from a woman’s co-operative in Africa. So cool!!

I love the mission of Noble Originals and I hope to continue using their products. Their products are well made and really affordable for its value. If you are interested in more of their products you can check out their website here-
